Windows Vista Starts but Reverts Back To Windows Repair Mode

A friend of mine has suddenly had their laptop stop opening.

It is a Acer Aspire 5735Z


I tried changing the hardrive and even taking out either the one of each RAMs to see if it may be this that's giving the problem.


I am thinking it I get a installation disk, if this may help to at least boot it, or give it a reinstallion.


Any ideas please, it will be more than welcome.
