Hello,
I have a very odd problem and I've exasperated myself trying to find the root cause.
I run a dedicated server based out of Vancouver, BC (where our business is based out of). It runs our e-commerce webstore software for the business.
Anyways - for some reason - the computer refuses to think that it's anywhere else except in Dubai, UAE. Google searches send me to the UAE version of their site, our own website thinks we're in Dubai, and the majority of "Where-Am-I" sites also think we are in Dubai. If I do a search of our dedicated IP address, it comes up correct as Vancouver, Canada.
While not a huge game changer, it is of a particular annoyance, because our website tailors a few features to users located in Canada, which I don't receive when accessing our site through the server's own browser.
We don't use a VPN or a proxy or anything like that, and I've gone through all the regional settings, done suggestions from countless google searches with similar topics, and I just can't figure this out. I get the same results through every web browser.
Does anybody have any advice that they could throw my way to point me on the right track on what to look for? We run minimal programs on the server except for essentials.
Windows Server 2016 Standard
IIS 10.0
Plesk Obsidian 18.0
Cheers,
Travis
