Impossible to upgrade windows 10

Hi all,

I need support because i am very tired and disappointed from this new model of upgrading windows,
introduced with windows 10.

The machine of interest is a Dell laptop, type of mobile workstation, Precision M6800.
It is quite powerful i can say and in excellent condition.
This model in particular is officially tested, approved and supported by Dell to work with windows 10.
Originally it was came with windows 7 preinstalled, but now it's a dual boot system, after i created an
additional primary partition, where i have installed win 10 pro 64b.
I had done it some time within the period of free offer by microsoft, without any issues during and after
installation.
Since then however, i never had a good experience of upgrading, every time a new feature update was
out.
After some tries, i was always ending up to perform a clean install.
Not a big deal, since this is not my main computing environment, to have a lot of settings, documents,
projects, programs and all this stuff a computer in duty has. Only device drivers from Dell or via windows
update.
As you can understand however, a clean install is not the way to go every six months in a production
computer.
So, this time i decided to clear out what is going on with windows 10, which will define the future of
windows for me.
I have no plans to make again a clean install and resort to rely on this method of "upgrade"..

I have tried multiple times 4 different methods, all of which have failed.
It's the worst experience of upgrading an operating system i ever had, since ms-dos era..

First method was windows update. It failed multiple times, like all i have tried.
When i saw the feature update v1903 to be listed in windows update, i just clicked "Download and install".
All the times i did it, in less than 1 minute this method was ending up to this:
03b22797-6755-4a40-be8d-4eea7ba5ab6c?upload=true.png

Second method was to use the "media creation tool" (MediaCreationTool1903.exe), i got from here:
Download Windows 10
First of all and very much irritating, every time this STUPID tool is used, it needs to download again the
whole stuff, even if the setup source it creates in .\ESD\Windows\ is kept in tact..! Very funny..
Anyway, this method also failed all the times i tried, ending up to this:
2448704d-c840-49d5-ba34-641aac167078?upload=true.png

Third method was to try the "Windows 10 Update Assistant" (Windows10Upgrade9252.exe), i got from
the same place as above for the "media creation tool".
It also failed exactly the same way as the "media creation tool".
At least, this tool does not download again the installation source, providing that the esd file it downloads
the first time in .\Windows10Upgrade folder it creates is present.

Fourth method was to try to upgrade by using the windows 10 iso (Win10_1903_V2_English_x64.iso),
i downloaded from here:
Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File)
I extracted its content in a folder at the root of a different physical storage media (not external) for better
performance during file copy operations and run the setup.
This method also failed exactly the same as the above two methods.

In all cases i tried the above three methods, this blue screen of "Installing Windows 10" was advancing normally,
takes maybe more than half an hour and when it reaches to 100%, saying "Your PC will restart in a few moments",
it vanishes but instead of restart i see "Windows 10 installation has failed" (image above) at the center
of my desktop..

In between my tries to make the upgrade, i did also various other things, including the following:
- Delete .\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder (after stopping the appropriate services).
- Delete .\Windows\System32\catroot2 folder (after stopping the appropriate services).
- Delete log files.
- Delete temporary internet files.
- Empty Temp folders (windows/user).
- Run the inbuilt disk cleanup tool, normally and as administrator.
- Run the inbuilt windows update troubleshooter.
- Attempted to upgrade from the inbuilt Administrator account.
- Countless restarts..

My current installation of win 10 v1809 seems to be ok. It is fast, responsive and smooth. It can be
considered as a pure installation, because there are no any other third party programs or applications.
Only device drivers and firefox because i have my bookmarks and passwords on it.
It is fully updated with no issues of this kind and currently the only thing in the list of windows update
is the feature update v1903..
sfc /scannow does not report any integrity violations.
/restorehealth with dism tool does not find any corruptions (.\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log).

So, what the heck is happening in my case...??

In the link below you can find the output of SetupDiag.exe tool i got from here:
SetupDiag
There are two instances of logs, the one after a try to upgrade via windows update and the other
after a try with win10 iso. In each case i had deleted all logs of previous attempts.

Thanks in advance for any help.
George
