Microsoft recently release Indic Script built-in Phonetic keyboard in new update. Its really good news for us because we didn't need to any external software to write any Indic Script. But i think this can be more improved. Otherwise we still need to install an third party input software called 'Avro' for Bengali

I am Bengali, so i am showing example how to improve more in Bangla Phonetic.

There should be some specific input process, to write any kind of word without need of suggestion. Such as:

  • o = অ
  • O = ও, ো
  • a = আ, া
  • (ko = ক, kO = কো, ka = কা, these three function is very necessary for Bangla Phonetic)
  • i = ই, ি
  • ee = ঈ, ী
  • u = উ, ু
  • oo = ঊ, ূ (now if write noor , it show নুর (na+u kaar) instead of নূর (na+oo/uu kaar)
  • rri = ঋ, ৃ (now if write krish, it show ক্রিশ (ka+ra phala) instead of কৃষ (k+rri kaar)
  • t = ত
  • th = থ
  • T = ট
  • Th = ঠ
  • d = দ
  • dh = ধ
  • D = ড
  • Dh = ঢ
  • n =ন
  • N = ণ
  • s = স
  • sh = শ
  • S = ষ
  • r = র
  • R = ড়
  • rh / Rh = ঢ়
  • ng = ং
  • Ng = ঙ
  • y = য়
  • Y = ঞ
  • j = জ
  • z = য

And some sign, which we can't currently write in need.

  • t` (or something else) = ৎ (Khanda Ta)
  • n` (or something else) = ঁ
  • h` (or something else) = ঃ
  • `` (or something else) = ্‌ [Virama (Hasant)]
  • $ = ₹, Indian Rupee Sign [for Bengali (India)] ; ৳, Bangladeshi Taka Sign [for Bangla (Bangladesh)]

These thing will be make Bangla Phonetic input more meaningful and scientific.

And, why "Bangla Phonetic' layout is not available in Bangla (Bangladesh)? Its only available in Bengali (India), please solve these problem.
