Hi,
I am trying to setup bit-locker on an HP EliteBook 850 GS running Windows 10 Education (10.0.17134 Build 1734). Disk is a Toshiba KXG50ZNV512G.
I want to set my OS Drive with XTS-AES 256-Bit encryption (or AES 256-Bit) and a pin at start-up.
However,
- I don't get those options when I run bitlocker
- I still don't get those options after I change group policy
- Even if I force encryption method and pin in group policy, bitlocker still runs the default (126-bit and no pin)
- I also tried doing it from the powershell, but the same happen - cannot make bitlocker perform 256 and/or pin
- I am newbie on setting up encryption so...I am out of options
