Hello,

For my lab i have downloaded the Evaluation Copy of Windows Server 2012 R2 Image and after the install i have converted the Evaluation to a Full Version using the below command and the Product key i used was the AVMA key that is available in the Microsoft Site.

DISM /Online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:DBGBW-NPF86-BJVTX-K3WKJ-MTB6V /AcceptEula

After the above command , it confirmed that the "key installed successfully" and followed by a reboot of the machine, the watermark on the right bottom with the message "Windows License Valid for 180 Days" got disappeared.

And i know that the above executed command, only removed the evaluation package and installed the AVMA Key but still the activation of the VM is pending.

and i Confirmed the same using the Command "SLMGR /dlv" and i got the below output.

So in this case if the Server OS is not in activated state, i need to know the following info.

1. Expiry time of this Operating System that is still pending for the activation .

2. Whether the Services or Roles will get impacted if the machine is in non-activated state and at the same time if it is not in evaluation mode.
