Hi.
Windows server 2016 (1) has been setup as a forest domain controller. DHCP is also setup at Windows server 2016(1).
Windows server 2016 (2) installed in the same network.
Windows server 2016 (2) is getting IP from the forest domain controller.
The ipconfig of Windows server 2016 (2) says,
Connection-specific DNS Suffix: forest domain name e.g. xyz.com
IPv4 Address: from the range defined at DHCP.
While promoting Windows server 2016 (2) as an Additional Domain Controller, I see error message as
Before this, it was as
And
I was litter bit confused. Which credential should I use here?
First I used credential of forest domain i.e. Windows Server 2016 (1), then I used credential of Windows Server 2016 (2).
In both cases, I have seen the same error message.
Pls guide me to resolve the issue.
Thank you in advance.
