Hello All,
Currently I have 6 Surface Book 2's all with the same issue. The Ethernet Adapter on the Surface Docks will connect and disconnect on repeat, once a second until eventually the SB2 will blue screen.
There is roughly 150 Surface book 2's, 200 Surface Laptop 2's & 50 Surface Pro 4's. So far the issue only effects the Surface Book 2's on 1903.
The initial symptom presented to me is a BSOD with the NDIS.SYS driver being the culprit. Got a nice collection of Minidumps.
Tried these solutions:
-SFC /Scannow
-DISM Online /Repair
-Updated till no more updates remain
-Reinstalled latest drivers from Microsoft site for the SB2 (Why is it only a package?)
-Updated Dock to latest firmware
None of these have fixed the issue, it returns within a few hours. The only sureway to prevent it from happening is to catch the ethernet adapter as it's just connected, right click on it and disabled it.
This is not an ideal fix as there are WiFi deadzones in the building, so not everyone has a decent connection.
Does anyone have any ideas on a solution?
