Is anyone else seeing detection issues with their Server 2012 (non-R2) servers with the Nov 2019 updates?
MS19-NOV (KB4525246)
is rolling back some of the files installed under MS12-083 to the original
version that pre-dates the MS12-083 patch so that is making the update become
relevant again as files below the patched version are detected. File
version information for the KB shows MS12-082 installed versions 6.2.9200.16449 where as
NS19-NOV has reverted to the RTM version 6.2.9200.16384.
The machine and the KB confirm a 2012 file is replacing a newer file. Do we assume there is a problem with the latest file or did someone not place the correct file in the software update package?
