Cannot create a file when that file already exists

When I used the "Import pictures and videos" function in file explorer to transfer pictures from iPhone (connected to the win10 computer through USB port) to my computer, I constantly received an error message "cannot create a file when that file already exists". Surely, this was a false message as the file was not on the computer yet, and transfer continued by selecting "try again". Any idea why the computer gave this error and how to prevent it?
