I just moved to a new Windows 2016 server. I have NOT checked the box "Do not start Server Manager automatically at logon." I also have a old dos program (.exe type) that I keep running all the time.
Every two or three days, the old dos program would stop running, and the Server Manager-Dashboard would display when I log on. Other times, the dos program would run, and the Server Manager-Dashboard will not display.
I wonder what stops my dos program. And why the Server Manager-Dashboard not always displays when I log on. It only displays when the dos program stops running. Why these two events are tied together? I need to keep the dos program running all the time.
Anyone has a clue?
Thank you so much,
