I am running a Win 10 Pro 64 bit PC with an I9-9900KF cpu, ASUS TUF Z390-Plus MB; 64GB RAM and a pair of ASUS VS229 monitors driven through a goFanco active DP-to-two-DP adaptor, from the DP port of a Radeon RX 560 video card.
The primary #1 monitor is stuck in VGA resolution, with no other resolutions offered in the Radeon or Windows setup screens. It is described in the advanced display dialog as "Display 1:" only.
The #2 monitor has many offered resolutions offered in the Windows setup screen. It is described in the advanced display setting dialog as "Display 2: ASUS VS229". I almost believe this is significant. However, the drivers for both monitors are the same: monitor.sys version 10.0.18362.207, 6/21/2006.
Does anyone have any idea of how to fix this?
