Hi folks,
I realize the SMBv1 has been deprecated and should not be used.
However, I have a customer with an old W2K3 file share and needs to access it from W2K16 via UNC.
We are currently unable to access it at all over the network, even after enabling SMBv1 on the W2K16 server. See below.
PS C:\Windows\system32> Get-SmbServerConfiguration | Select EnableSMB1Protocol
EnableSMB1Protocol
------------------
True
Is there any way to get around this until this customer upgrades the old server or migrates?
NOTE: It works fine when accessing from W2K8 (assuming because full support for SMBv1).
