Wireless Display Adaptor connection error

M

Mikiseven

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to connect Microsoft's Wireless Display Adapter on my second computer. The device works fine on the first one. Here is the situation:

  • I've updated the firmware of the adapter with the first computer.
  • I've followed microsoft's entire troubleshooting faq: I'm all up to date with all my drivers, the firewall is set to enable the connection.
  • The device appears on the computer, the connection starts but then fails.

Here is the DxDiag, showing that miracast is enabled:

I'm not able to find a specific error log on the event viewer. I'd transmit everything necessary with some help to find where to look at.

The adapter appears in the device manager as well.

I'm quite desesperate right now, any help would be great at this point.

Best,

M.
