Application services don't start after windows updates

We have many servers and have started automatic monthly updates. The updates run and restart but many of the services both Application specific and Microsoft (ADFS) just don't start. They are set to automatic or delayed start and can manually be started but they just don't start themselves like after a normal reboot.


Of course nothing in the logs of use
