Windows XP SP3 Installed... now it's asking me to activate.

I recently salvaged a Windows XP desktop from a relative's place, and I'm currently using it for nostalgic stuff that only Windows XP can run. But one of the programs required Service Pack 3 to run. I installed that, and now Windows wants me to activate it! The product key that was used for the computer earlier on is "unauthorised" and I can't use it.


I really don't know what to do. I probably won't succeed in the telephone method, and I doubt I can find another product key that would work. Please, help!
