Hi,

When I take videos on my iPhone 10 and upload some of them them to YouTube or Messenger, it later causes the process of transferring photos and videos (right-clicking on the iPhone icon and using "Import Pictures and Videos") from my iPhone to my Windows 10 desktop to fail when it reaches those respective videos. I have to turn my phone off and on again before photos and videos will transfer again. I've contacted Apple Support and Windows Support twice over the last two years of this phenomenon, and neither could figure out a solution. Being an architect, I take a lot of photos on my phone and I like to transfer them to my desktop and then my server; the occasional failure over a video (or sometimes photo) really has made my workflow problematic. Somehow, uploading videos to YouTube or Messenger via my iPhone seems to place a lock on them that disables their Windows transfer from phone to desktop.

In the middle of transfering from my phone to my PC, I get an error on a particular photo or video transfer saying the "device is unreachable". Then, I can't further transfer any photos or videos until I restart and re-plug-in my phone.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I've tried this on our other Windows 10 desktops and have the same problem.

Thanks,

Derek
