We have recently implemented 3 new 2012 R2 RDS servers in out environment. I setup the group policy on one server then copied it to the other 2 servers. My issue is this. Server1 will timeout and lock after exactly 5 minutes. Server 2 and Server3 will timeout after 15 minutes and go to the lock screen. I have double checked the group policies on each machine and verified that they are all the same(they are set to timeout after 15 minutes). I have also checked the power setting on Server1 and it is set to timeout after 15 minutes. I have searched the registry for all screensavetimeout registry keys and they are all set to 900. Group policy settings: Screen Saver timeout = 900. Enable ScreenSaver = Enabled. Password Protect the screen saver = Enabled. Is there something I may be over looking? I have ran gpupdate /force numerous times and it continues to timeout at 5 minutes. Thanks for the help in advance!
