My computer is a tough gaming rig with an intel I5 processor.
Last night I shut down my computer normally. This morning, I turned it on and it went to a black screen, showed:
>>checking media presence.....
>>media present
>>start PXE over IPv4
Then loads into bios. I have tried all the trouble shooting options using my restore disk, went to the command prompt and typed in c: then dir. It shows everything correct. I ran chkdsk/f which it said it couldn't run as the disk was mounted and asked me if I wanted to demount the disk and continue. I did. It found no errors. In bios, It shows windows boot media (if that's the correct words) on and off. Sometimes it's there, other times it just shows the drives. I had hair when I got up this morning. I am now officially bald.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
