I have a home network with an iMac, Windows 10 and Windows XP pcs. I recently installed a new HP All-In-One wireless printer.
My Windows 10 PC can see the XP (and access files on it) and the HP printer in Explorer, under Network, and I can print.
My Windows XP cannot see the iMac or the Windows 10 in Explorer. What it does see, under My Network Places, Microsoft Windows Network, is Workgroup with a + in front of it. However, I get nothing when I click it. The + just goes away. If I double click Workgroup, I get a message it is not accessible and I might not have permission, followed by "The service has not been started."
The iMac, XP and Windows 10 all have WORKGROUP as their Workgroup.
Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks.
