My PC has a 2nd blinking cursor in the top left of the screen and the main cursor is doing its own thing

Hi, does anyone know how to resolve this problem, it started a couple of days ago, I'm using Windows 10, I have tried reading threads on Google and some say its to do with a Microsoft update or driver update and some say its system files - any ideas as I can't use my pc for my work as it won't open most things :-(

I called Norton and they said that I have no viruses and that my protection is fine.
