Windows 10 professional system, with mapped drive to server 2016 essentials server, with AD.
All applications are working correctly with the exception of a single folder.
All paths and permissions map out correctly, and user can create & delete files and folders on the mapped drive and withing this particular sub folder, however two users I have tried who both have domain admin rights cannot see or access the particular application file in this sub folder.
The user can search on the folder for the specified file and this is shown via the full UNC path and not the mapped drive, but when either the administrator or this user try to access the properties is says accessed denied.
If I then rename the file name to a different file extension, they can then see the file in this sub folder, and they can also access other files with the same extension in other sub folders.
full permissions are given on both the share and the full path to the specified file
