I have Windows pro Xp2 and I been trying to upgrade to Vista Business. I
backed up my important files, uninstalled incompatibility programs, and also
antivirus program, before I started to upgrade process. I put disk 1/4
upgrade disk and everything goes fine. A few restart, a few contiued, and
then upgrade process stuck at 64% . After a two hours nothing happend. I
restared Pc, revert back to Xp. The same procedures I benn trying using
Vista Business DVD, but nothing. Stucked at 64%, again.
My Pc spec is:
E6400, I965P,nv8800gts.

Really need some good explan.

Hi,

Uninstall the existing video card supporting software and revert to a
standard VGA driver, then retry the upgrade.

Yes I did it. Unistall vga drivers, sound-blaster drivers...The only thing I
didn`t payed attention is my E6400 stayed overclocked at 3.0ghz. I do not
belive that is problem.

You might want to bring the clock back to specifications as Vista is not
tolerant of non-spec hardware.
