fail to activate my windows 8 pro

in year 2012 i bought my laptop acer aspire one with windows 7 home basic. on 03/11/2012 i get offer from microsoft to upgarde to windows 8 pro. so i did a buying online with my order no wd04689164 together with cd driver. now my laptop got problem due to hard disk corrupted. i changed my hard disk and installed a new windows 8 pro. i try to activate it but failed. Why ?
