Hi,
Wonder if anyone can assist.
Have been using a 3 network dongle for a few years and had no problem. But the last time that tried to top-up the dongle to use the it kept getting - error 619 -
Did a search and found - netsh winsock reset; followed the instructions below and received a message that the command had been successful and the computer needed to be rebooted. Did that and when the dongle was attached got error 619; port closed.
Tried this a couple of times, removed the 3 network and reloaded, turned off the fire-wall; nothing but port closed.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
1. Press “Windows key”, start typing “command prompt” on the start screen.
2. “Command Prompt” will appear in the list, now “Right click” on command prompt.
3. Click on “Run as administrator”, if you get a UAC prompt click on “Yes”.
4. Now type the command “netsh winsock reset”, press “Enter”.
