I'm trying to create a setup command batch file to upgrade 2012 R2 OS to 2016 so the admins don't need to choose the options of an upgrade including the ability to ensure the Desktop Experience is installed, not server core.
Upgrade Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2016
I've tried 'setup /auto upgrade /quiet' but it doesn't seem to run and doesn't even produce an error
Would also like to run a setup to evaluate whether there's enough free space to run an upgrade. is there a scanonly option?
This seems to indicate there is a scanonly option although it didn't work either
