I recently did a factory reset on my computer. When I connect to wifi there is no problem accessing the internet. But I have a router that I use when I need to network my computers and send OSC messages between the computers. This router intentionally does not have internet connection. When my Windows 8.1 computer connects to it, it says that the connection is limited. When I try to send OSC messages to it from my other computer, the packets do not go through. My MacBook and other devices can connect to this router perfectly fine, so I know it is not a problem with the router. There is something about my windows computer that does not like the router.
I have also tried plugging the router in through Ethernet and that says it is limited too.
As a test I created a hotspot on my phone (that intentionally does not allow internet access) and again, my computer says that its connection is limited.
