Old help WinHlp32.exe

Hello,

I clicked on the help button of a perfectly good freeware program, and Vista
said the format of the help file is no longer approved by the higher
authorities. There was a link to 3 screenfuls of stuff that says you can
download WinHlp32.exe, but the Continue button just sends you to a load of
crap to download stuff to validate Windows.

I've just bought the computer from Dell (stupid idea, will never do that
again), so it should be validated already, bearing in mind the links between
the 2 suppliers (all that publicity by Dell for V*sta).

Now, I just want to use my computer.

Regards

The validation is required to get anything extra from Microsoft. It really is
no big deal since it is just checking to see if you have a vaild version of
Windows. Just follow the instructions. It only take a few seconds.
