Scanning on new 1400 Epson

I just purchased and registered my new 4100 Epson printer and it prints but unable to scan photos into my pc. It say's to go to Epson Connect services to add a new destination. How do I do that so it goes to my computer. It will take pictures from my pc and prpnt them
