win98; USB 2.0 flash drive

How do I get win98 to recognize USB flash drive? I hope that this is not an
identical post.

If it is W98, you may be out of luck. If it is W98SE, go to the maker of
the flash drive web site and see if there is a driver available for
download. If not, post back and we can try to find a generic driver that
will work with your drive.
