Hi,
In our AD infra we are facing one peculiar issue.
We are not able to access the windows shared folder via IP address as we are getting the following error but the same is getting accessed by hostname.
error:
You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request."
The xyz user on client1 will only be able to access the windows shared folder by ipaddress of client2 if that xyz user is logged in. on client2 machine.
This issue is not only appearing on client2, its appearing on most of the clients that we checked.
Following Troubleshooting done
Please help us to isolate this issue
Thanks
Sunny

Following Troubleshooting done
- DNS name resolution is happening on both the clients
- Firewall is turned off
- Checked the port 139 and 445 between the clients and they are open
- uninstalled AV
- move the client1, client2 and xyz user to seperate OU and blocked the inherritance
- removed the network teaming and assigned single network card
- disabled some of the hidden network adapters from device manager
- netsh winsock reset
Please help us to isolate this issue
