CBS.log is corrupt or unreadable

Can you repair or start over on the cbs.log? Says corrupt or unreadable. Won't open. Causes server to never finish a reboot/power cycle required.

Edit: neither windows installer or update services are started. can't take ownership or change acls on that file. I know c is dirty. I'll try running chkdsk /r this weekend
