Server 2016. Desktop is frozen. All I have is an unelevated CMD.
I have some stuck services and need to reboot.
There are some pending windows updates. Set to auto download but manually install. I did not start the manual install.
For this reboot, I would like to avoid the added complication of windows updates.
Would remotely disabling the windows update service temporarily disable windows updates for that reboot? I do not want them to start automatically when I issue a shutdown /f /r.
Thanks
