Windows XP generic floppy driver (internal)

Please I wasted 20 bucks on 10 set of xerox floppy disks unused and they all keep coming back as unable to format, Head ID error thing, or in general just refuse to load. Also once in a while it will say that the floppy drive had send a unrecognized error to the driver. Is there a better drive for this? My computer is a desktop Gateway E4300 and there are no drivers (floppy) for me to install.
