Windows Fax Cover - Add new field

ALD

Is there any way I can add a new field in the Windows Fax cover sheet? I need
to send items to a company, but to the attention of a specific person. How
do I edit the cover to show this? All that ever shows up is the fax number
and who it is going to. I have to choose my contacts from Outlook 2003 I
can't just type anything in.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Are you in the Fax Cover Sheet Editor? The text control in the Editor is a
bit unintuitive -

- Click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click Windows Fax and
Scan.

- To use Fax view, at the bottom of the left pane, click Fax.

- Click Tools, and then click Cover Pages.

- Select the cover page that you want to edit, and then click Open. Use the
options in the Fax Cover Page editor to modify the cover page.

- to add text, click on the Text "ab|" button, on the Fax Cover Page Editor
Toolbar.

- drag the mouse to mark out the rectangular area where you want to text to
be inserted. A dotted-line text field will be created.

- now type the text you want to insert. It will appear in the "text object"
field you just created.

- To see how the cover page will appear on screen or in print, click File,
and then click Print Preview.

- To save your changes, click File, and then click Save.

Hope it helps,
