Inherited a hardly used laptop that still has Windows Vista. I checked and found that it has more than enough RAM, memory, etc to support Windows 10.
I download the Win10_1909_English_x32. Since I was having trouble downloading the media creation tool, I went onto another laptop that was compatible, and placed the media creation tool onto a flashdrive. Went back to the laptop with Vista and copied the media creation tool onto that laptop.
Tried to run as Administrator, and received the error message "MediaCreationTool.exe 1909 not valid win32 application".
Do I need a physical copy of Windows 10 to install, or is there a work around, that doesn't involve 3rd party vendors (too many scammer nowadays)?
