Windows Server license

Hi,

I intend to install Windows Server 2016 Standard as a guest OS (virtualized OS) on a physical server (less than 16 cores). The server runs VMware ESXi as hypervisor.

I want to know if the Microsoft product that I have, is what I need. The MS product number is 6FA-00300 (Windows Server 2016 for Embedded Systems Standard (16 Core, 5 Clt)). Will I be able to activate the Windows Server 2016 OS and will it be OK with respect to number of physical cores?
