I have a user that I would like to be able to create, modify, and run scheduled tasks on a 2012 R2 server remotely
I do NOT want to give them admin access, and there will not be an admin around to provide credentials.
Our ERP system has a function where you can schedule Crystal Reports to run, so I need her to be able to log into the VM using RDP, run the ERP app and have permissions to create a scheduled task, as well as review and modify all the scheduled tasks in Task Manager.
She is able to connect to the VM and run the ERP app, but it throws an (unhelpful) error when it tries to create the task.
She can see the tasks in task scheduler now, but it asks for credentials if she tries to create or modify a task.
I have added her to a "Task Schedulers" group. It has full permissions to C:\Windows\System32\Tasks
The group has local server rights to Log on as a bath job, and Log on as a service
What am I missing?
