Hi there. I just set up a DC using Server 2012 and this is the first time I have ever done this. After setting it up, my network icon has the yellow exclamation icon on it representing it doesn't have access to the internet. But indeed I do, and can surf around the web fine.
When I set up my second Server 2012 and joined it to the domain. I had to manually change it's DNS settings to point to the DC IP address, that was the only way I could get it to join the domain.
I do have an adtran router as well that acts as a DNS right now for the rest of the machines at the office. The two servers listed above are just for testing right now as we do not have a domain set up yet.
Is there a reason the Yellow Exclamation symbol is on the network icon or will this be normal for a DC?
