Hi there
I am having a problem on a windows server 2012 R2 domain all the clients are windows 10 and updated monthly. We use folder redirection. We have always had a problem where occasionally on a PC would throw up an error message where it would say that the folder redirection location in unavailable on some PC's but recently it seems to have worsened and I have been asked to resolve. I've gone through our GP's and checked physical connections but all are fine, it seems to occur at random and never seems to happen at the same time to two users. There are some users it never happens to but others where it is much more common, on my account for example I have seen it twice in the last 6 months but some users are seeing it 2 or three times a day. Refreshing the desktop usually fixes it and downtime is never more than 30 seconds. We have on site exchange and a CRM system on site an neither of these experience issues with connection dropping and the CRM usually makes a huge fuss whenever bandwidth becomes an issue or the users pc runs into performance issues and will disconnect but it does not seem to correspond with these error messages. The DC is on a a separate physical machine to the CRM, exchange and file server and there has never really been an issue with performance on any of them. I have tried disabling offline files which I saw suggested somewhere but it does not appear to work either.
If anyone would be able to help me it would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Ben
