Have a local area network of 2 XP laptops and 1 Win 10 desktop.
Moved an HP printer from an XP computer to Windows 10 when I was told that Windows 10 now supported the printer so that I can retire the XP computer supporting the HP printer.
Need to print from the remaining XP laptop to the HP printer on the Win 10 desktop.
I have been unable to connect the XP laptop to the HP printer on the Win 10 desktop. I can see in the Add Printer Assistant on the XP laptop the Win 10 machine (DESKTOP) but I cannot expand and see the attached and shared HP printer on the Win 10 machine.
I attempted to search for discussions of the issue but only returned software updates.
