Active Windows

I have used windows 8 for 7 years. And today, i got a notification that said i need to activate windows in pc since my license expires on 17 Mac. However, where i can get my product key to active Windows? I dont know where to get it since i bought this laptop from to shop and they didn't provide me the product key. please help me
