Microsoft store, Calculator, Mail, Groove, Money will not run, I've tried everything suggested on various forums. I've also done a repair install.
Doing any powershell command to appxpackage results in this:
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage
get-appxpackage : The database disk image is malformed
The database disk image is malformed

The problem apps do not show in the settings, Apps & features list but they do show in the Start Menu list.
Clicking on them in the Start Menu just causes the screen to flash momentarily.
Lost all my restore points on repair install so can not go back.
sfc shows no file corruption
Any suggestions please short of a clean re-install?
