lost word password

several years ago i password protected a word document and have since
forgotten what the password is. i would like to reopen that document, but
don't have any money to buy software to do it. i don't remember the version
of word i was using when i did this, but i recently downloaded microsoft
office home and student 2007. can anyone help?

Hi

Go to www.lostpassword.com and click on Word. There you can download a
program that will help you to recover your password. This should work in
every version from Office.

like i said, no money to buy software. i password protect my entire computer
now, and it's password is so obvious to me that i will never again have any
use for password recovery software. anyone else have any ideas?

You could try http://www.freewordexcelpassword.com/ , never used it myself
so I don't know how good it is.
