Windows XP Update of March 2020

So today around 2 P.M. I got a windows update I think I am not sure, one this I am sure is that when I came to shut down the computer around 10:17 today it said there was a windows update. It said important updates were also here. It is not a virus or anything because there is a genuine shutdown menu for windows XP. Is it a bug where this computer had not received updates for the last 6 years or what? I don't want to shutdown this computer just yet because of this.
