Hi team,
I am trying to implement RBAC on Windows Server 2012 R2, the access that I am implementing is:
Grant full access to all authenticated users - this setting is begging applied to shared settings.
Restrict to read and write to a specific group - this setting is begging applied to NTFS
as I know the more restrictive is applied but this is no happening in my production network
I test this same setup in a lab with the same version an is working as espected.
what can I check in our productions servers, may be in the active directory?
Please check this images
SHARED SETTINGS:
NTF
NTFS SETTINGS:
NTFS SETTINGS 2
THIS IS THE EFFECTIVE ACCESS IN LAB for the user samuel.sanchez that is not part of the security group.
AND THIS IS THE EFFECTIVE ACCESS IN PRODUCTION for the user juan.ramirez that is not part of the security group.
look like only takes into account Share Permissions but no File Permissions.
Thanks for your help
