I had malware cripple a Win7 PC so I removed the 1TB Seagate drive and plugged into external adapter. Although the correct Seagate driver is controlling the drive, it shows up as a 99gb drive. There’s no access to the windows directory as well as others. File system is showing up as NTFS. This seems like more than simply checking whether file encryption is turned on as the full 1TB isn’t recognized.
Just need to run a malware virus scan and remove the culprit.
