How do I License a Windows 7 in a hyperv hosted in a Windows Server 2016 Datacenter?

Hey guys,

Because of the compatility, I need to install a software on a windows 7 system virtuallized on a Windows Server 2016 Datacenter.

Do I have to buy a license for the Windows 7 System?

Somewhere I found someone said "The Datacenter Edition provides the user with an unlimited amount of virtual machines; each license also comes with a Hyper-V host. " So I guess I do not have to buy a Windows 7 License, and the Windows 7 can get its license from the Windows Server 2016 Datacenter, am I right?
