Dear Gurus,
We have an ERP system in which client side is created using WPF and WCF is used for server side. WCF service is hosted in IIS. Maximum 10 worker processes are configured. Work Process recycling is configured on 3:00 AM daily. This App pool stop issue is not happening daily but randomly on same time (3:00 AM) application pool is automatically stopped.
After checking from event logs an Error was found followed by 2 warning messages,
Error
Application pool '.NET v4.5' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.
Warnings
A process serving application pool '.NET v4.5' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '60192'.
A worker process '68092' serving application pool '.NET v4.5' failed to stop a listener channel for protocol 'http' in the allotted time. The data field contains the error number.
