Hi all,
This is my first post on here, limited knowledge of Windows OS and a bit of a long-shot issue.
I have an ASUS laptop with W7 installed which isn't booting up after a long period of non-use.
Long story short, I no longer have a Recovery DVD or Product Code for the Laptop.
Now, when I switch the ASUS on I get the standard ASUS logo, then the following:
-
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 082)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
For Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCIE Ethernet Controller v1.0.0.11 (2008/07/10)
Check Cable Connection!
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device
or Insert Boot Media in Selected Boot device and press a key_
-
What is happening? Can I fix it? Is it possible to do without the Recovery Disks and Product Key?
Please help...
